Job Summary
You will manage warehouse operations including receiving, inspecting, storing, and dispatching goods. You will maintain accurate inventory, pick and pack orders, communicate with customers, and ensure a clean, safe warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage to ensure quality receipt of goods
- Update inventory records and label goods to maintain accurate stock information
- Store products in designated warehouse locations to optimize space and accessibility
- Conduct regular stock counts and replenish inventory to prevent shortages
- Report inventory discrepancies or low stock levels promptly to management
- Pick items accurately according to order lists to fulfill customer orders
- Pack goods securely and label shipments correctly to ensure safe delivery
- Prepare shipments and coordinate with delivery partners for timely dispatch
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely to maintain workflow efficiency
- Build and uncrate crates for secure storage and transport of goods
- Dispose of packaging materials properly to maintain a clean warehouse
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support operational safety
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment
- Assist in equipment maintenance as needed to ensure operational readiness
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding order status and delivery schedules
- Address customer inquiries and resolve basic warehouse-related issues promptly
- Coordinate special packing or handling requests with customers to meet their needs
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks safely if certified to support material handling
- Assist in warehouse documentation and data entry to maintain accurate records
- Handle customer returns or damaged goods according to company procedures
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to handle and operate necessary warehouse tools and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred but not explicitly required)
- Basic computer skills to update inventory and manage documentation
- Good physical fitness to handle heavy products safely
