Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, events, and digital prospecting.
  • Develop and execute structured sales plans to maintain a strong pipeline and achieve sales targets.
  • Generate RFQs, RFPs, and tender opportunities across target industries.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer requirements, operational challenges, and supply chain needs.
  • Qualify opportunities based on commercial viability and strategic alignment.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored logistics solutions, proposals, and pricing models.
  • Lead negotiations and convert opportunities into profitable long-term contracts.
  • Conduct presentations, meetings, and site visits to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Achieve assigned targets for revenue, profitability, and new customer acquisition.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer and sales activity data.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms in line with company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new customers.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are operationally feasible and cost-effective.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in Contract Logistics, 3PL, warehousing, e-commerce fulfilment, or supply chain solutions.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in new business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience preparing tenders, RFQs, and logistics solution proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Ability to design and propose logistics solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems.
