Description
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee warehouse staff and coordinate daily activities to meet order fulfilment targets and service level. You will plan manpower requirements based on daily sales forecasts, promotional campaigns, seasonal peaks, and historical order trends. This includes preparing weekly and monthly manpower plans, forecasting labour needs, managing shift schedules and arranging part time staff when required to handle volume fluctuations while controlling labour costs.
The role requires analyzing operational data to improve workflow efficiency, optimize staffing levels, and reduce errors. You will work closely with customer service and operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment and resolve any shipment issues.
The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for inventory accuracy, overseeing cycle counts, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring proper use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment is essential.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in e-commerce or fulfillment operations
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in manpower planning and labour forecasting
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
- Proficient in Excel and warehouse systems
