Assistant Merchandiser
The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in monitoring sales performance, managing inventory levels, and maintaining product displays at assigned locations. The role will also involve coordinating with sales, marketing, buyers, floor managers, and on-site staff to improve product visibility and sales performance.
Key responsibilities
Monitor sales performance and manage inventory levels at assigned locations.
Monitor, maintain, and rotate products on display to ensure that displays are neat, attractive, and optimized.
Monitor product sales performance at assigned locations and share relevant updates with the sales, marketing, and merchandising teams.
Prepare and submit regular inventory reports.
Identify and highlight slow-moving or non-moving items to the Sales and Marketing teams.
Assist the Sales team in preparing, managing, and submitting product listings to buyers.
Assess the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts, and recommend improvements to support higher sales.
Maintain good working relationships with floor managers and on-site staff at assigned locations.
Coordinate with relevant teams regarding stock replenishment, product rotation, display changes, and promotional activities.
Assist with roadshows, meetings, and other merchandising activities when required.
The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented retail professional with a relevant diploma and experience in merchandising, sales support, or inventory management. Confident tracking sales, managing stock, and maintaining displays, they communicate well, build strong working relationships, and can work independently across multiple locations. Proficient in Excel and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, they’re also willing to travel around Singapore and work occasional weekends. Knowledge and interest in Anime IP and Mobile games is an advantage
