This policy explains what personal data Ecommerce Jobs List (ecommercejobslist.com, the "Site") collects and how we use it. The Site is operated by Lachmann Technologies Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201312994N), 40 Jalan Pemimpin, #03-12, Tat Ann Building, Singapore 577185 ("we", "us"), and we handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). What we collect

You can use the Site without an account and without giving us your name or email. We collect:

  • Usage and device data. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools record your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people use, and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and session recordings) so we can fix problems. Both set cookies, described below.
  • Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply.
  • Employer payments. If you pay to feature a job, Stripe processes the payment. We receive your name, email, company and billing details from Stripe, but never your full card number.

Job listings come from employers' public career pages. They describe roles, not job seekers, but some include the name of a hiring contact. If your name appears in a listing and you want it removed, email us.

How we use it

We use this data to run and improve the Site, measure which pages are useful, prevent abuse, reply to messages, and process and support paid listings. We do not sell personal data, we do not show third-party advertising, and we do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to the Site.

Cookies

The Site sets analytics cookies from Google Analytics (such as _ga) and Microsoft Clarity (such as _clck and _clsk). They tell us how visitors use the Site and are not used for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The Site works normally with cookies turned off.

Third parties

We share data only with the service providers that run the Site, each under its own privacy terms: Heroku (Salesforce) for hosting, Amazon Web Services for file storage, Google for analytics and fonts, Microsoft for Clarity, and Stripe for payments. Company logos are loaded from Google's favicon service, so your browser requests those images directly from Google. When you click through to apply, the employer's careers page and its application system handle your data under their own privacy policies, not this one. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Where your data is stored

Our providers may store and process data outside Singapore, including in the United States. Where data is transferred, we rely on providers that protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings. Emails are kept while the conversation is useful, and payment records for as long as Singapore tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent to our use of it, by emailing us. If you are in the EU, the UK or a US state with its own privacy law (such as California), you may also have rights to deletion, portability and objection; email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The Site is meant for people looking for work and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
