Assistant Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG | Frozen Food | Up to $7k) JF
About the role
Strengthen SG/MY commercial execution through promotion planning, channel activation, trade spend control, pricing support, promotion ROI review and Sales/Marketing/Finance alignment.
Key responsibilities
Develop and manage the SG/MY trade marketing calendar across modern trade, online, B2B, ethnic, distributor and priority channels.
Set up promotion guidelines, pricing support templates, trade spend tracking and approval processes.
Evaluate promotion effectiveness through pre- and post-promotion ROI review, including sales uplift, GP/OP impact, stock readiness and trade spend efficiency.
Work with Sales to improve channel execution, displays, sampling, online campaigns and customer-specific activation plans.
Coordinate with Finance on GP, OP, trade spend, claims, budget tracking and profitability review.
Support Marketing and Ethnic Channel & NPD owner on launches from a channel activation and trade execution angle.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotion activity, channel trends and customer execution standards.
Support monthly commercial review with Sales, Finance, SCM, Marketing and Ethnic Channel & NPD owner.
About you
Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales or related discipline.
4 to 6 years of FMCG trade marketing, category management, commercial planning, sales planning or key account planning experience.
Strong understanding of promotion mechanics, trade spend, pricing, channel execution and ROI analysis.
Able to challenge Sales and Marketing constructively using data, customer logic and P&L discipline.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
Food, frozen/chilled, consumer goods, modern trade or distributor channel experience preferred.
