JOB DEFINITION

The E-commerce & Social Media Growth Executive is responsible for building ChoiceRefill’s brand-owned content, social media presence and measurable off-Amazon traffic for the US market.

This is not a traditional customer-service role and does not depend on influencer partnerships. Even if no external creator works with us, employees will continue building ChoiceRefill’s own social media channels, content library and customer-acquisition assets.

ODORSEAL is hiring two employees for this position. Each employee will be assigned individual content projects, social media activities, Amazon Attribution links and measurable results. Both employees will be cross-trained to provide backup coverage when required, while individual project ownership and attributable results remain separately recorded.

ABOUT ODORSEAL AND CHOICEREFILL

ODORSEAL PTE. LTD. is a Singapore-based consumer-products and product-development company.

Our ChoiceRefill brand has been selling round diaper-pail refills to US customers through Amazon since 2017. ChoiceRefill is a practical, repeat-purchase household product that helps families find compatible, easy-to-use and cost-effective refill options.

ChoiceRefill is not a simple trading or standard private-label product. The company has independently developed its production lines, product structure and manufacturing processes.

We continue to improve film performance, production efficiency, product compatibility, packaging structure and the overall user experience. These product-development and manufacturing capabilities create a meaningful technical and operational barrier to entry that many ordinary e-commerce products do not have.

Employees will have the opportunity to understand how a consumer product moves from product development and manufacturing to Amazon sales, customer feedback, product improvement and repeat purchases.

ESTABLISHED AMAZON FOUNDATION

The company founder has many years of practical Amazon e-commerce experience and a clear understanding of product positioning, pricing, traffic, conversion, profitability and repeat purchases.

The founder is responsible for:

• Amazon Listing creation and optimisation
• Product images, selling points and page structure
• Amazon on-platform advertising
• Pricing and promotion strategy
• Product positioning and pack-size strategy
• Purchasing, inventory and core business decisions
• Product compliance and overall brand direction

Employees are not required to build Amazon Listings from the beginning or independently operate Amazon advertising.

Instead, employees will work from an established product, supply-chain, Listing and advertising foundation to build ChoiceRefill’s brand-owned content, social media channels and measurable off-Amazon traffic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. BUILD BRAND-OWNED CONTENT ASSETS — APPROXIMATELY 35%

Create practical English-language content that answers real customer questions and supports Amazon purchase decisions.

Content may include:

• Compatibility demonstrations for tested round diaper-pail models
• How to identify compatible and incompatible pail structures
• Installation, film-pulling, cutting, tying and refill-replacement instructions
• Troubleshooting for common installation problems
• Guidance on choosing between 3-pack, 4-pack, 6-pack and 8-pack options
• Guidance for existing ChoiceRefill customers moving from older products to the latest version
• Explanations of product length, capacity, value and intended use
• Frequently asked questions based on real customer concerns

Employees do not always need to appear on camera. Clear product demonstrations, hand movements, close-up shots, captions and simple voiceovers are acceptable.

Strong master content should be repurposed into suitable formats for the company website and different social media platforms.

The objective is not to publish content simply to appear busy. The objective is to build an accurate, reusable content library that helps customers understand the product and make the correct purchase decision.

  1. OPERATE BRAND SOCIAL MEDIA AND GENERATE ORGANIC TRAFFIC — APPROXIMATELY 25%

Support and operate ChoiceRefill’s brand-owned social media channels, which may include TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest and Facebook.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a practical content calendar
• Publishing approved content consistently
• Adapting content for each platform and audience
• Writing clear English captions, titles and calls to action
• Responding appropriately to relevant public questions and comments
• Participating helpfully in relevant online discussions while respecting community rules
• Directing interested customers to the correct Amazon product page
• Checking that every published Amazon link is accurate and traceable
• Reusing effective content across suitable channels

ChoiceRefill’s social media and off-Amazon growth activities must be able to operate normally without relying on external influencers.

  1. RESEARCH CUSTOMER DEMAND AND IMPROVE CONVERSION — APPROXIMATELY 15%

Actively identify what US customers need to know before making a purchase.

Research sources may include:

• Amazon customer reviews and product questions
• Competitor reviews and recurring complaints
• Customer enquiries received through the ChoiceRefill website
• Social media comments and discussions
• Search suggestions and frequently asked questions
• Feedback from existing ChoiceRefill customers
• Performance data from previously published content

Turn useful findings into:

• New content topics
• FAQ improvements
• Troubleshooting guides
• Website updates
• Product-information recommendations
• Clear suggestions for Amazon Listing improvement for the founder’s consideration

Employees should report “problem + evidence + recommendation,” rather than forwarding screenshots without analysis.

  1. TRACK RESULTS AND RUN GROWTH EXPERIMENTS — APPROXIMATELY 15%

Use Amazon Attribution and internal tracking sheets to measure employee-owned content and traffic sources.

Responsibilities include:

• Using an approved tracking link for each content item
• Recording the platform, content ID, product, publication date and responsible employee
• Monitoring clicks, product-page activity, purchases and attributable sales
• Comparing different topics, formats, openings, captions and calls to action
• Identifying content that attracts clicks but does not result in purchases
• Recommending which content should be repeated, improved or discontinued
• Preparing a short weekly performance summary
• Maintaining accurate content and campaign records

Each employee will receive a separately assigned Amazon Attribution link structure so that individual contributions can be measured.

  1. SUPPORT DAILY E-COMMERCE OPERATIONS — APPROXIMATELY 15%

Support the founder by completing and following up on routine work surrounding the Amazon business.

Responsibilities may include:

• Checking whether key products are available for sale
• Monitoring obvious price, stock, variation, image or link abnormalities
• Tracking approved inventory, inbound-shipment and replenishment matters
• Maintaining product information, packaging files, images and version records
• Organising sales or advertising reports and highlighting meaningful exceptions
• Preparing supporting information for platform cases
• Following up on approved changes and confirming completion
• Escalating urgent issues with evidence and a recommended next step

Employees do not independently change Amazon advertising, Listings, prices, purchasing plans or budgets.

  1. HANDLE LIMITED CUSTOMER ENQUIRIES — UP TO 10%

Customer service is a small, on-demand part of this position.

Most ChoiceRefill customers understand and purchase the product directly through Amazon. The role is not expected to spend most of the working day handling enquiries.

Responsibilities include:

• Checking the company website for customer enquiries
• Answering questions about compatibility, installation and product use
• Following up on unresolved matters
• Classifying recurring customer problems
• Updating approved response templates and FAQ drafts
• Turning repeated questions into useful content or improvement recommendations

When customer-service volume is low, the available time will be redirected to content creation, social media operation, research and growth experiments.

  1. OPTIONAL CREATOR AND INFLUENCER COLLABORATION — 0% TO 10%

Creator partnerships are an additional growth opportunity, not the foundation of this role.

When a genuinely suitable US parenting, household or value-focused creator is identified, employees may:

• Evaluate the creator’s audience and content quality
• Make initial contact
• Explain the product clearly
• Coordinate approved product samples
• Prepare a content brief
• Follow up on agreed timelines
• Record published content and measurable outcomes

Employees are not required to contact creators simply to fill working hours. Creator activity should expand only when it produces useful content, qualified traffic, measurable sales or a valuable long-term relationship.

Time used for creator partnerships will be allocated from the social media and organic-growth portion of the role.

INDIVIDUAL ATTRIBUTION AND SALES INCENTIVES

The fixed basic salary is S$3,400 per month and covers the normal responsibilities of the position.

In addition to the basic salary:

• Employees may receive a monthly performance bonus based on execution quality, accuracy, follow-up discipline, teamwork and backup capability
• Each employee will be assigned a separate Amazon Attribution link structure for employee-owned content
• Eligible individual sales incentives will be calculated using valid, finalised Amazon data
• Refunds, cancellations, self-purchases, abnormal traffic and ineligible activity will not be counted
• Individual attributable-sales incentives do not have a fixed upper limit
• The calculation method will be provided in writing so that employees can understand and verify their results

External Amazon Associates or Amazon Influencers may use their own affiliate links. Such partnerships will be assessed separately and will not replace the employee’s responsibility to build ChoiceRefill’s brand-owned content and traffic.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

A successful employee will not wait for the founder to assign every daily task.

You should be able to:

• Identify useful customer questions independently
• Convert customer questions into content ideas
• Produce or help produce clear product content
• Publish content using the correct tracking link
• Review the resulting performance data
• Decide what should be improved next
• Maintain accurate and complete records
• Follow up until work is completed
• Provide reliable backup coverage when required
• Explain problems using evidence and practical recommendations

Success is not measured only by the number of posts published, messages sent or hours spent.

We value work that is accurate, reusable, commercially useful and capable of producing measurable improvement.

WHAT YOU CAN LEARN

Using real operating data and active commercial projects, the company founder will help employees understand:

• How to identify real customer demand
• How to distinguish views, clicks and purchases
• How to evaluate the commercial value of content
• How to use Amazon Attribution to measure off-Amazon activities
• How pricing, conversion rates, sales, costs and profit are connected
• How customer feedback can lead to content and product improvements
• How to turn one-time tasks into repeatable SOPs
• How product development, manufacturing and supply chains affect a consumer-products business
• How to participate in business decisions using a “problem + evidence + recommendation” approach

This role is suitable for candidates at an early stage of their careers who want to develop long-term commercial judgement, product thinking and independent problem-solving ability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong written English, with the ability to communicate clearly with US customers and write natural social media content
• Chinese reading and writing ability, as internal SOPs, training materials, product-development information and reporting templates are currently maintained in Chinese
• Proactive and organised, with the ability to continue work without constant reminders
• Comfortable maintaining accurate records in Excel or Google Sheets
• Able to learn from customer feedback and performance data
• Willing to perform practical content work, including simple filming, editing and publishing
• Comfortable working with a practical household consumable rather than relying only on fashionable or entertainment-focused content
• Able to work with a colleague, review each other’s work and provide backup coverage
• Careful with product facts, compatibility information and customer-facing claims

Fresh graduates and candidates with internship, freelance or personal-project experience are welcome. Prior Amazon experience is not required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience in any of the following areas will be helpful:

• E-commerce operations
• Social media management
• Content creation
• Short-form video production
• Digital marketing
• Customer service
• Community management
• Creator or influencer coordination
• US consumer markets
• Household, parenting or baby-care products

Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Excel, Google Sheets and commonly used generative-AI tools is an advantage.

Candidates do not need to have a large personal following or maintain a public influencer account. Examples of content, school projects, freelance work, previously managed brand accounts or a simple portfolio are welcome.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

• Fixed basic salary of S$3,400 per month
• Monthly performance bonus
• Uncapped individual attributable-sales incentive
• Established US Amazon sales infrastructure
• Amazon Listings and on-platform advertising managed by the company founder
