About the role

In addition, the Company's securities may be listed in the future, and the role will involve establishing and running the investor relations function in connection with any such listing.

Key responsibilities

Investor communications and engagement

  • Develop and execute the investor relations strategy and equity story, if and when the Company's securities become listed.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for shareholders, noteholders, analysts and prospective investors, and manage their enquiries.

  • Prepare results announcements, investor presentations, earnings call scripts and Q&A materials with the CFO, finance team and Legal Counsel.

  • Organise investor meetings, roadshows, conferences and site visits, and maintain the investor contact database.

  • Coordinate shareholder meetings and other shareholder communications, working with the Company Secretary and share registrar.

Market intelligence and reporting

  • Monitor share price, trading volumes, shareholder register movements and peer valuations, where applicable, and report insights to senior management and the Board.

  • Gather and analyse investor and analyst feedback, and advise management on market perception and investor expectations.

  • Benchmark the Group's disclosures, key metrics and investor messaging against comparable companies.

Disclosure and governance

  • Work with the Legal Counsel and the Disclosure Committee to ensure that investor communications are accurate, consistent and compliant with applicable disclosure requirements, including fair disclosure practices and blackout periods.

  • Maintain the investor relations section of the Company's website and coordinate with external investor relations, public relations and communications advisers.

  • Handle confidential and price-sensitive information with discretion, in line with the Company's insider trading and disclosure policies.

Corporate finance support

  • Support the CFO on capital markets activities, M&A communications and investor-facing aspects of potential acquisitions.

  • Support the preparation of sustainability (ESG) disclosures and other reports for investors.

  • Undertake any other investor relations and corporate finance matters as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business, Communications or a related discipline; CFA, CPA or a recognised investor relations qualification is an advantage.

  • 4 to 8 years' relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance or financial communications.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation and capital markets, with the ability to translate operational and financial results into a clear investment narrative.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience engaging with US or other international institutional investors is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, e-commerce or platform businesses is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • Sound judgement, integrity and discretion in handling confidential and price-sensitive information.
