You will co-lead Professional Solutions SEAK Business Planning and Analysis team to consolidate and develop forecasts, produce insightful analyses as well as maintain regional reporting to support the leadership and the stakeholders’ decision-making processes. The role needs to create and establish work connection with local commercial subsidiaries in SEAK Region, to prove supportive for Regional Management and related functions, and to act as trustful point of contact for Regional ASIA and Corporate stakeholders. Having a clear understanding the business needs, conducting comprehensive data analysis, deriving actionable insights, developing recommendations, and creating analytical solutions are all key success factors for this role. Being able to be part, and to own specific shares of strategic/commercial projects will be an additional requirement for this role.


Essential Expected Results:






    1. Data Analysis Proficiency: Being able to leverage on experience and on network building to create proper analysis structures, with different complexity in terms of both tools and level of detail, in order to be able to boost quality and quantity of information to be shared with key stakeholders to meet clear or latent needs.


    2. Business Reporting Production, Refresh and Update: Support in maintaining current reporting structure as well as promptly providing solutions for report update following business needs and requirements. Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations and translate them into analytical findings and concise presentations to stakeholders and management.


    3. Effective Forecast Production and Business Understanding: Ensure accuracy and reliability in the forecast consolidation process from local stakeholders, as well as being able to comprehend the business dynamics and support Regional Management with higher-level decision-making thanks to the collection of insights and analysis of relevant data.


    4. Project Management: Being able to contribute to potential upcoming cross-functional projects from both an analytical and strategic perspective, thanks to the expected positive understanding of the business dynamics of the region;


    5. People Management: Being able to embody leadership and guide young employees in the team, ensuring balanced activities’ workload and profitable contribution from all team members.








    1. Data Complexity: Dealing with vast amounts of data from multiple sources, structured or semi-structured / EssilorLuxottica and others.


    2. Time Management: Balancing multiple tasks and deadlines requires good time management skills to ensure timely and accurate delivery of analytical outputs.








    1. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities are essential to collect, interpret, and draw insights from data sets.


    2. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office tools, (e.g. Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and SAP Business Objects. Any additional dashboarding tool proficiency is highly valued. Inclination to learn other data analysis tools, databases, and spreadsheet software is critical to achieve the best results on the role.


    3. Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication is vital to present findings to stakeholders and contribute to data-driven discussions.




AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:




  • Business Analysis & Reporting

    • Provide Business Analytics support and analytical solution development across all functional areas and Top Management

    • Taking care of Corporate Reporting (towards Asia team as well as Corporate team), providing all information needed to fulfil the tasks on a weekly basis, as well as maintaining all the internal resources linked to this activity up to date to be quick and flexible in answering needs.

    • Taking care of special projects’ reporting and analysis (e.g. Artgri frames development project) and coordinating teams to achieve the right level of deliverables.

    • Lead problem solving efforts for cross-functional teams and develop specific recommendations and action plans with business leaders

    • Identify automation opportunities in reporting and dashboarding, and develop and maintain dashboards for broader leadership team

    • Verify consistency between sales inputs from business/finance sources, versus what is in the planning tools (by channel and market) with the goal of reconciling the two.

    • Ensure appropriate tracking, monitoring, reporting capabilities for key performance indicators. Continuously assess performance and process improvement opportunities to drive accuracy and efficiency




  • Business Planning

    • Being able to support the team in the collection and validation of the Sales Forecasts submitted by the local Subsidiaries on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

    • Being able to identify potential new models to predict, control and corroborate Net Sales forecasts from Subsidiaries on both Lenses and Frames Extended sides.

    • Being able to support the team in net Sales and Orders Portfolio Management, Analysis (orders collected, canceled, orders shipped) management working closely with Subsidiaries to ensure that Regional Targets are met.

    • Being able to support the team in coordinating with Corporate & APAC Planning team on a regular basis to ensure region is supported with fulfillment On Time In Full. 

    • Supporting Budget Process of the Wholesale Division

    • Reporting to Regional Management and Corporate team the regional/local business trends and risks/opportunities on a regular basis


    • Cross-Functional Projects

      • Being able to support the team in the definition of priorities, needs and to develop action plans for potential cross-functional projects (e.g. Instruments’ business mapping)






Main requirements


 SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:



  • Lead a team and effectively develop, coach and empower young interns and team members, ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for excellence

  • Excellent communication, analytics, problem-solving, project management, teamwork, organization and collaboration skills

  • Proficient in BI Tools (SAP BO, Power Query, PowerBI,…)

  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint presentation skills

  • Able to independently design analysis and gain actionable insights from data

  • Strong capability of multi-tasking and managing tight timelines

  • Experience of implementing /automating analytical solutions, dashboards

  • Strong balance of business, data science techniques, and technology acumen

  • Ability to communicate data related insights effectively and efficiently


KEY REQUIREMENTS:



  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis to derive actionable insights and data driven strategies. Previous managerial experience is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s (Master of Science) Degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering matters.

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude;

  • Proficiency in English language communication, both written and spoken;

  • Proven ability in PowerBI is highly appreciated and valued;

  • Good organization and priority setting inclination.
