Software Engineer (Intern)

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain platform applications that support trading operations, portfolio analytics, and internal workflows.


• Build scalable backend services and APIs using modern engineering best practices.


• Develop intuitive and high-performance frontend interfaces for end users.


• Perform testing and debugging to ensure functionality across different browsers and devices.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for further improvement.


• Optimize applications for performance, efficiency and scalability.


• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.


• Apply basic UX/UI principles to improve user experience and engagement.


• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.


• Maintain technical documentation such as code comments, diagrams, flowcharts, and layouts.


• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.


• Proficient in JavaScript and at least one modern framework (e.g., React or Laravel).


• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.


• Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles.


• Good knowledge of database (e.g MySQL or NoSQL).


• Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details.


• Knowledge of recruitment processes, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and e-commerce is an advantage.
